Art After Dark - May
April showers bring May flowers, and everything is blossoming—including this month’s FREE Art After Dark event!
We’ll give you all the supplies you need to paint your own flowerpot, and we’ll send you home with a West Virginia wildflower growing kit!
While you’re painting, feel free to enjoy the sweet sounds of Charleston’s own Brenna and the Boys.
And before you head out, make sure you explore each of the THREE different art exhibits we’ll have on display.
Imagine you’re trekking across gorgeous, icy landscapes with our “Walking in Antarctica” exhibit, get immersed in contemporary rug art with “Stories Are Made, Loop by Loop,” and be inspired by the work from local students who’ve won Kanawha County Schools Art Show awards!
Art After Dark is supported by The Elliot Family Foundation, Friends of Clay Center, and Fund for the Arts.
The Clay Center’s performing and visual arts offerings are presented with financial assistance from the West Virginia Department of Arts, Culture, and History, and the National Endowment for the Arts, with approval from the West Virginia Commission on the Arts.
